Jessica's dad let Jessica and her friend Caroline A from Walhalla, SC. show off the 880 carat Sapphire he found on June 7. That is not a typo. It weighed 5.5 ounces. Times that by 32 grams per ounce than 5 carats per gram. That equals 880 carats. (My teachers were right - I do need math after high school!).
Anyway, way to go Mr. M, Jessica and Caroline!
