Planning your groups next outing? Rose Creek Mine offers group rates to fit your needs.

We offer loaded pre-made gem bags and provide detailed identification cards for each guest. We also provide all the tools and equipment you will need during your visit.
Our flume is fully covered for mining rain or shine, there is a clean and accessible restroom on site, along with covered and open air picnic areas. We also include an educational lesson on geology for your group provided by a real local geologist.

Included with your visit:

• Gem mix for each guest
• Gem identification card for each guest
• full access to our grounds and facilities
• educational lesson on geology.

Less than 10 guests: $30 per person
11-50 guests: $25 per person
50+ guests: $20 per person

Groups are typically accommodated on Mondays or Tuesdays April 1st – October 31st.
A 10% deposit is required at time of reservation.

Geode Cracking

We offer a great selection of top quality affordable geodes which you are able to select from when you visit the mine!

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will assist you in setting up your geode so that you can crack it open yourself at our geode cracking table.

Black Light Mining Tour

A chance to find native rubies the easy way, right off the ground at a historic mine site south of town. All tools and equipment provided. Snacks and water provided (call for details and availability)

Start times change throughout the year but start at dusk

$150 per person (Minimum 2 guests, Maximum 8 guests)

Rockhounding Day Trips

For those who are interested in collecting native gems and minerals or visiting local geologically interesting sites with a real geologist as your guide. Snacks and water provided.

Trips are from 9am-5pm with a break for lunch.

$1000 per day for up to 6 guests.
An additional fee of $125 per person will be applied for each additional guest. (Groups of 15 or more please call for pricing)
